How health-related data can appear

Holistic University is a wellness marketplace, not an electronic health record. We do not run clinical intake forms. Still, free text and search filters can include health-adjacent content when you choose to type it.

  • Booking notes to practitioners
  • Retreat interest notes (including accessibility or dietary needs you share for hospitality)
  • Review comments
  • Specialty or modality filters that can look condition-like
  • Precise location briefly used in the browser for Near Me (converted to a city label; coordinates are not stored as your profile pin)

What we do with it

Notes help practitioners or retreat hosts serve you. Filters help you find listings. Near Me uses reverse geocoding (Nominatim) to a city-level label. Analytics deliberately strip exact coordinates and free-text note fields, and strip true health free-text property keys if they ever appear on events.

Booking notes are not copied into Google Calendar descriptions.

What we do not do (current product)

We do not use free-text notes for advertising. We do not sell note content. We do not build a clinical chart. We do not require symptoms or diagnoses to book.

Your choices

You can leave notes blank. You can type a city instead of using Near Me. You can avoid putting sensitive details in reviews. For questions or deletion requests: management@holisticuni.com.
